What Makes a Person Interesting?
An interesting person is one whose life is worth studying for three reasons. First, the person is someone we recognize, someone whose contributions — for better or for worse — have had a significant effect on our culture. 
Second, interesting people intrigue us. We know their names and we wonder about them.
Finally, interesting people are important to study because doing so has a positive effect on our own lives. 
There are, of course, many, many well-known men and women we can study. I have chosen certain people because they interest me, and because I feel that who they are and what they have to teach us is often unappreciated.

2. Look at the list of people the author gives, read in these pages and write a short paragraph about each one of them saying :

CREATE A FIRM IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY. 4TH ESO


  1. . Work with a classmate.
  2.  Create a project of  a shop or firm belonging to the fashion industry.
  3.  give it a name.
  4.  Where is it? write the address of the shop, firm, workshop......telephone number and contact.
  5.  Mention the type of clothes you are going to work on/sell, promote..... (casual, sport, smart, for weddings... accessories,.... your design,etc.......
  6.  Describe some of the outfits.
  7.  Explain if it is going to be fair trade, ecological, ethical........
  8.  Include examples of items of clothes (if possible with pictures) and their prices. 

Write everything in a power point or in a word document. Make it attractive.

Although I know it's a bit difficult to go back to school every year, I think in general you will be happy in a few days. It is great to have  daily contact with your classmates, to write and read and speak and learn grammar and vocabulary and Geography or History, to start with new subjects such as Physics and Chemistry or any other new one for you... School life is so varied and exciting at times. Don't you think so? It is stressful too. I hope this blog gets full of your work and projects and that it becomes a useful tool.
And after all this speech, your first assignment for this year and for all classes.
