THERE ARE GREAT TRAVELLERS IN HISTORY AND IN LITERATURE. YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE OF THESE AND WRITE A TEXT ABOUT HIM. FIRST INTRODUCE.EX: cRISTOPHER COLOMBUS WAS AN ITALIAN TRAVELLER. In UNIT TWO WE ARE WORKING ON HEROES, PEOPLE WHO DID SPECIAL THINGS.

TODAY YOU ARE GOING TO READ A TEXT ON HEROES AND DO THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES.

1. write the names of the heroes mentioned in the text and a brief description of what they did. F:EX: mattice Stepanek wrote a poem.
 2.what is the title of Mattice's poem?.
With the help of a dictionary translate the las four verses.
 3.Look in the text for synonims of these words a. accept and live with problems (VERB, paragraph 2)b. have something in commomn with others (verb paragraph 2) c. sadness (noun) d. a piece of writing (noun)9
 4. Look for a spanish heroe and say what he did. 5. What is a heroe for you? write a short paragraph.
